Md5 you can turn off by opening config.properties
and change
# MD5 Client File Cechsum Protect [Need too the Client side KOCP AddOne] (Default false)
MD5FileCheckSum = true
to
# MD5 Client File Cechsum Protect [Need too the Client side KOCP AddOne] (Default false)
MD5FileCheckSum = false
Btw edit your config.pk with sharpcrypt then you'll see the npc names and change them

Ok 1st of : /bow to HandsOfGod ... Best Repack ever ... really man /clap and gratz and Thankx --- Just bad some ppl can't figure it out on their own and try stuff before even installing SQL Server ;)
Now I go some issue with the shipped updater, the Options button don't seem to work, and the notice only loads up when there is an update .... Excellent updater btw :D
For the game, seems like the skill tools bar are only saved on first and second page, 3 thru 0 don't save even with normal logout.
I just downloaded the engine.exe that is on the x page of that thread... omg so many noob question in those pages. Will try it out for the pages 3 thru 0 issue, but if anyone know about the options and notice in the updater thx.

How can i edit the Geon Droprate? The mobs in d1 just drop 1300 geons... Its too low!

Where is Notice2 becouse i have that problem and md5 check isnt activated so where the heck is Notice2 i wanna fix that quick^^
just put a hash symbol in front of the md5 checks to disactivate it.. or you can run the md5 program get your special data number and put it in the md5 numbers thats already there^^
I already disabled the md5 check!
But in Vladis post there it says if the problem is not the md5 check, look at Notice2 and i wanna know where the Notice2 is too fix that...

horrible to read 18 pages what stupid problems ppl can get.
there are many times discribed how to set up this server, what the pw of files is and so on (but sometimes this stupidity was that damn hard that it was funny to read :)
i felt in love with this repack, but i still got problems to get the client running on a friends pc.
what we want and already have done:
we want to play kal on lan:
-for now, 2 pcs, normally connected via router
-my pc is the server host and playing client, friends pc playing client
============
-i set up the server using DB files out of other threat (clean files) -> no problems
-using vladis repack i started loginsv,... started my client (vladis included repack client (no problems)), logged into game with my in DB created account and played a bit around.
-my friend copied all client files out of this repack, changed in config.pk the ip to my ip given from the router (i did the same and replaced the new md5 in the servers config.properties file with the old one) and tried to connect to me.
=> he was unable: Error msg: "unable to connect to the server"
at least i saw a message at mainserver that there was an incoming connection :)
'-> we tried to play a bit around: added a server.ini containing my router-given ip, placed it in my friends client root folder (where the engine.exe and so on are) and started that game over various game luncher -> always the same end: "unable to ..."
we opend the ports 30001, 40001, 50001 and 50002 in our router, same result: "unable to ..."
we also tried a crossover connection to our pcs, gave us both static ips, changed all in the config.pk/config.prop, later also in the server.ini file, but...still...same result..."unable to..."
if someone got an idea how we can fix it up to enjoy this great game & repack for our lan gaming, post ur answer, ty
btw: i searched this forum how to get this game running for lan gaming, but didnt found any good answer to this prob, just many players who want the same thing like me...
