Adding the latest KOSP/KOCP onto Vladi's Repack

Security which comes with the repack is quite old, so I decided to put in an upgraded version of kocp/kosp. The things I did:

1) got the latest files from http://www.speedyshare.com/355251960.html (Flohle posted the link somewhere)

2) From the KOSP folder, I added everything to my server files, Got the password too etc. I didn't set the exact .properities things and rates, cause it's testing only. So I only got the password and changed that.

3) From KOCP folder, I copied everything to my client files. (including protect.dll 2.35.86.495)

4)Now, I followed the "how to make your engine" guide - got the clean one, added KOCP with the installer (which was added to the post) and u know... Successfully did those things.
At some point, it automatically created a new protect.dll, which had a lower version number on it. So I ignored it and re-put the newest KOCP protect file into the client files. Also, I didn't change the password (VLADI#FILES69) to avoid more things, that could possibly give me errors...

5) Just in case I renewed the hshield folder, got it from the Engine making guide too.

6) Changed the config.pk and e.pk encryptions to .exclusive (huge increase in file size)

At first, I got an NULL/NULL error. Well, did everything again just in case (exept adding vista and unlock zoom options). Now, I'm encountering "Undefined files" issue. And well, most of the ppl solve it by editing the hackshield folder, however it doesn't seem to work in my case.

So 1 question - I know I did something wrong, but what!

(I swear if I get this done, I'll make a decent guide how to update Vladi Repack kocp/kosp system, so everyone would get this right with the first try)

"undefined files"? yes, hshield ^^ is the _loader.exe in it?

No, the hackshield files have no effect and the loader was in it before too.

I was thinking, that.. Shouldn't I also use the newest KOSP installer? Or it isnt' necessary, as I already have a mainserver with KOSP?

Another thing I had in mind, was the protect_dll file that the KOCP installer created, was a low version. The protect_dll file in the newest files, was like.. 4 versions newer. So I thought I need a newer KOCP installer too.. Maybe it's only a hunch, cause I really don't know how they exactly work.

Were the things I did correct at all?

... Im starting to make private servers again and atm im gettings config errors and i have the same problem as you.... please tell me how you fixed it?

And a while ago when i used to make kalonline private servers i used to get undefined files error, so im trying to think of how i fixed it...

Well, I don't know how I fixed the config error.. I just re-did everything that includes the "How to make your engine" thing. I guess I messed up something in between.

Anyways, getting quite desperate now. You know, does it make a difference, which KOSP/KOCP Installer version you have? And what is a KOSP_Updater.exe? It says a newer version is available, it even loaded something, but nothing changed.

Perhaps someone could recheck the steps I made? The fault has to lie there..

you mean the kocp and kosp intaller? it doesnt make a differance which download you get because there alll the same

yeh... well i can click login on the server screen ingame... so i dont so a problem with the restored database...

when i restored the database should i have ticked a box saying overwrite existing database or something.... theres 4 boxes... should i have ticked 1 ?

-e- The location of the databases can vary, cause not all have like.. C:\ drives as their OPsys ones and it can depend on the location, where you installed the SQL.
