in the client , there is a config file (looks like a notepad doc , with a cog on it) , named
settings
a few lines down you will see the screen size settings
make it like this...
RESOLUTIONWIDTH=1024
RESOLUTIONHEIGHT=700
or if your monitor is realy laim
RESOLUTIONWIDTH=800
RESOLUTIONHEIGHT=600
