Config Error Null/Null after KOCP

I've applied my own password in engine.exe and config.pk, e.pk and applied the vista patch and repacked the engine.
Game runs fine, connects to server no problem, etc.
I then put kosp on the server and kocp on the client (a copy saved before I repacked engine.exe) but now when I open the client, it crashes after the kocp splash screen with the Config Error Null/Null
I know the password is correct, since it worked before I applied KOCP, what could be wrong?

I forgot to mention that yes, I did re-save the config.pk and e.pk files using the exclusive crypt.

remove KOCP/KOSP. then it shud work. if it deos reinstall KOSP/KOCP make shure u config ervything. 2x check ervything.

Problem was fixed when I did this:
- look that only Config.pk and ClientVer.dat is in your Config folder (data/config)
- look that only e.pk is in your e folder (data/HyperText/e)
(deleted the backup .pk files)
