Database restored but server can't start

Hello,
I restored the database and set registration as windows user. But when i start server and put in my name and password in the database login screen it just goes away and comes again(the login screen). I tried everything but it won't work. I use SQL Server 2000 and run windows vista business. I coulnd't run it on the (LOCAL (Windows NT) server cause it had registration problem so i made a new one.
Thanks for your help. On my other computer ( windows vista home primium) it worked fine so I don't think the problem is that i run wondows vista business.
