General Question about ROOT / Dedicated Server

i got an offer for an dedicated server. But my problem is that the CPU is a 64bit :( Is it possible to run kalsrv on a 64 bit ROOT?

no that isnt possible

you really need to have a xp bit version because else it wont run good and it would be verry buggy
32 bit is the best for a private server you cant use sqeval 2008 you can use 2005 or 2000
2005 is the best because of the nice overvieuw and fast.

You can use Vista 32bits and Sql2008, it work fine with me.

Get 64bit sql 2005 and it will work fine.. i've tried myself.

x64 - 64 bit Server
x84 - 32 bit Server

tested it and it worked ;)

does the main/auth/dbsvrs have problems on x64? other than that there will not be any issues
