Check you KSM server side, load it up in KWE and check the colours on the areas

Are the mobs able to attack you but you cannot kill them?
1. If they cannot attack you and you cannot attack them it might be Ismir's solution, that the monster are spawned on a different map then you. same area, lets say another "dimension". Post the GenMonster.txt information of that monster here.
2. The Save zones are wrong. but since you did not change anything on the ksm file,i doubt that this will be the main problem. you still could look for the ksm file serverside and upload it here or load it in KWE and check for the colors as Kallyanna suggested.
