    [HELP] Bronze Man

    hey guys ,

    i added the bronze man , bronze giant etc mobs to my server
    all work fine exept my bronze man -_-

    it started when i added everything , when i started my mainsvr
    it sayd an error like name is already taken etc about Demon Throwing Soldier Head , it was cause the name of bronze man is 430 , in LanguageM_en.txt and LanguageM_kr.txt 0430 is coincidentely Demon Throwing Soldier Head line :)

    so i tried changing the line , and make it name 445 index 430 in initmonster.txt , edit it in message-e.dat so the name 445 is Bronze man , when i go ingame , the mob is there but the name is NULL ..

    so i tried something else

    i edited the line to name 338 index 338 ( since it's not taken yet ) in initmonster.txt i edited the macro.dat line to key 338 ,
    message-e.dat name 338 to Bronze Man , renamed the M430_b1.gb to M338_b1.gb ..

    when i go ingame then , i move to the index , i see the name , Bronze Man , i can click something , but the model ain't there :)

    can anyone help me with this? :s

    Did you hexedit gb files in clothes and motion?

    the gb file in clothes i hexedited , but what do i have to hex in motion?

    Sry, you dont need to change anythin in motion
    my bad :)

    maybe you did something wrong when rename that gb.. :scratch: not sure
    never had such problem

    Yes, monster names are loaded from LanguageMap_kr.txt and LanguageMap_en.txt...

    But the name is already filled in for the "Demon Throwing Soldier Head" item, which is too long to be loaded.

    Just shorten the name in the languagemap files and there you go
