How does elemental resistances work?

I need to know what is the formula of how elemental resistances reduce damage. Also what damage does non-physical resistance reduce? I suppose curse resistance is for imperial commander curses.

Ice resistance- reduces ice magic dmg, fire reduces fire dmg and so on, non elemental resistance reduces monster magic dmg, abs point reduces pshy dmg. Curses are made to reduce the points so your friends on castle war for example, can fight with advantage

for monsters yep, 100 resistance means unhitable by certain magic, about players i dont know you would have to check that
