for weapons make them in blender and export them using the blender plugin
u can open them with search function
btw even if u open them u can NOT modify it (\yet/) ^^
i mean u can in blender but it wont work in game xD
Best way is with a can opener....
j/k there is a blender plugin... bug s0uls answer is correct
u just can view it to see model butu can't Edit it :)
