if you are using koem v2 use the cracked main.dll by madknight it disable 2nd password and make you use old crypt config.pk & e.pk , and it disable md5 check if you have " which makes it easier to modify those files "

Re: How To remove 2nd password?

as much as i know there is 2 crypts for config.pk and e.pk
there is old one and new one the koem main.dll ( original one )
use new crypt like protection or something + md5 hash check for engine ~ config.pk ~ e.pk
    + it have secondary password
+ it's harder to modify config and e.pk since you have to add new hash value every time

    in the other hand
main.dll cracked by madknight is much better
it doesn't use secondary password ~ new crypt ! md5 hash check check and these useless shits ( in my opinion )
in another way it's easy to handle for beginner developer like me

Old crypt - If you are using a repack WITHOUT THEIF - (old engine)

New Crypt - If you are using a repack WITH Theif - (New Engine) NWK Engine, Termina Engine etc

Re: How To remove 2nd password?

Old crypt is truly in the old engine. But koem got its own crypt so you can't say old/new crypt.
I wonder why it bother you xD you can even use the same pkeditor to edit new/old crypt.
You don't have to use md5 checks, also it's not hard. You google for a md5 hash generator and just parse your config - nothing hard with it. Plus it secures your maps and configs and stuff like that so if you're willing to spend 5 minutes of your life, you can secure your server better as without it.
Also madknights protection supports it too if I remember it right.

If you're using the nwk repack from sun with his pek file system, the config and e.pk are unpacked and you can edit them with notepad - no crypt at all.

    Yes we could say

Clean Old Engine -> SwordCrypt (Advanced PK Editor)
R11 Old Engine -> KOCP Crypt (Advanced PK Editor)
    KoemV2 Old Engine -> AylenCrypt* (Aylens crypt.exe)
KoemV2 cracked -> SwordCrypt (i removed aylens crypt)
New Engine / NWK Engine -> NewEncryption (PKED Tool)

    *Alyen says:
"That is I think a favor bypass for something to change or get out from the e.pk or config.pk. This is a must point for using koem v2, without the client will start only with null error. So it’s in additional encoding to sword crypt. KOEM V2 include an own encoder ‘crypt.exe’ to bring the sword crypt encoded ‘e.pk’ and ‘config.pk’ into the koem v2 own encryption."
