riiiiight....anyone ever think of setting up a storage system in database for players? Then it would be easy to set quests. In quests.txt

(quest (index 29580 1)
(case (if (clear 29580))
(then (html 8001012))).
if you want something like -> collect items -> start Event, then you have to hire an coder (ofc it does cost some €).

Tran, I like that you tried to come here all collected and show your opinion. However, it was completely retarded. The reason? You have no idea what your talking about.
I followed the tutorial and had everything done other then the e.pk file. I asked where the file was because when I used the search option given to me by windows inside the server/client files. It came up with nothing. Which usually means the file doesn't exist. Then I went on to try to figure it out while I waited for an answer.
I have managed to get the server connect-able and added a few quests, edit monster, maps, ect. I have been doing this for 3 days now. So no you didn't dislike the post because you hate leechers. You did it because you are an ass hole. Your attempt to clear your name has been denied.
I am not a leecher it is obvious I am trying to learn. I have not asked anyone for any files, I have asked for locations of tutorials (so I can learn myself) So, go back to your hole and rethink who you are as a person. Don't come on my threads and try to come off as a better person then you are.
I won't pay for premium files because I can do the codes myself. I have already started going through all the source codes of the engine, ect.
Rethink your strategy because you just came off as a complete jack ass.

Let me rephrase the question above.
In the Quests.txt how do you set up the NPC to read the players storage's in database. At least you answered that. So, you get credit there. However, already knew how to check if the quest is complete, ect. I don't know how to set that it is complete in the database, ect.

I made a nice hunting system.
Maybe i'll release a good stable dll that contains that later.
The biggest question here, is it worth it to share something? with everyone who think who can take things and not give credits and act like he made something...
Right question with the wrong intension if you ask me. If you want to release something, you do it because you like to help the People who are stuck and not for personal credits. So the question is more like: do you want to see people create nice things with your help yes or no?
Well, I come from another open-source game where the community is very helpful. Any time someone tries to sell scripts one of us just makes it and releases it. Not because we don't want him to make money for his work but because if someone tries to make money off open-source then if someone can/wants to give it free then that should be done rather then the people hording the good codes for a quick buck. If everything was open source kal-servers would advance very fast. As I said I can make the code myself. I was just trying to figure out if there was any help doing it. From what I see the good programmers here are just in it for the money.
I am working on making a whole new script system which will make everything much easier to see, and is all around cleaner. There will be added codes so creating quests, and things like this will be much easier. Don't expect it anytime soon.
It will be updated to be as close to the main server as possible.
Mounts may be added.
