    Map editing or placing objects

I would like to place some monsters in new map, but most of them are to large or unfinished - with cuted world where you can fell down in watter...

Is there any place that has mountains all around (or water but with beach, not clip where you can fell down) or is it possible to make "invisible wall" or some large objects (like house) so that people can't walk forward?

mobs are controled by the serve not by the client you need the ksms for the new maps to stop makeing them walking off in to nothing but we dont have them you can make them if you have 20 or more days to get it right

Edit the kcm file. The invisble walls are collision zones in the ksm file or invisible object files.

They are invisible walls for monsters, but what about for players? I need to prevent player to move forward...

If you wanted to prevent players from falling in you could always make a little wall by editing the kcm file. It might not look good, but it should work.

Is it possible to place some object on map? Like 6 houses one next to other, or might some fence...

lol you only have to make a colision zone, then the players cant move down, than make a safe zone so the monster can move out its realy easy if you have found the right map

No, because there is no such thing as ONE collision zone. It's something Bakabug's editor make you all belive.

Come back once you read the more analysed KCM details.

crappy solution: create a new NPC without texture (someone already said above).. place it where you dont want ppl to fall down.. they probably think omg wtf , a bug! :P
Or just place ugly NPC walls..

    ask S*** to create a wallNPC :P

Re: Map editing or placing objects

I was hoping that it's possible to place objects the same way as NPC's... Looks like we'll have to wait until some good map editor :P
