Hello i have installed mssql server 2000 on my laptop!
I seted all to default and now my service manager wont start! On enterprice manager he connect!!
I have Vista x32bit !!
My biggest problem is that i have downloaded 5 Repacks and on all repacks i need to past an " ID & PW " on database and auth server !!!
I dont know where i have maked an mistake!!

install mssql as mixed mode and set your pw there, remember to make the right odbc's to
Check this post out :) msql 2005 is better for Vista (make sure you get the Service pack)
If you must use msql 2000 get SP4 for it :)
