Becouse hacker is smarter and the engine have much gap's

1. use secure scripts! if you make own scripts, make sure to protect every input and check for form length. Avoid direct inputs in post and get variables. Inputs can easily be altered on submit with firefox and "Tamper Data"
2. KOCP/KOSP R11 final is a must, it's worth every euro.
3. Block all ports except the mainserver's (so also Auth&DB), windows firewall is good enough
4. Secure your dedicated server with 2X SecureRDP as mentioned in Jake's thread
5. Use the windows system login for MSSQL and disable 'sa' or other logins.
6. Write custom protection...
Editing this thread, you would confuse people as the thread looked like it was a guide on how to protect when in fact it was a request for people to post how cos you don't know yourself :/ ..
