if i'm using Xnview: and i try a .jpg or .bmp to .dds than it shows 1/4 of the picture and 3/4 is black there is something wrong with mine Xnview?
i'm not @ home atm when i'm @ home i'll post some screens...
Somebody know this problem?

XnView screws a lot of times when converting back to dds. Try to find some other midlle man for it.
try the photoshop plugin, it's way better for dds then Xnview. and much more reliable.(that is if u have photoshop installed of course:matrix2:)
When you save .dds in photoshop, don't change anything in the option window. just keep everything as default.
