[Q] Some Questions

1) i have a porblem opening my config and e file, with some programs i can open them but i cant edit them. and with other programs i need the pk-password and then it says i have wrong password. can anyone help me with this?

2) i have all the droprate editors on this forum and they dont seem to work for me, if i need to open the files it allways give an error. (and yes, i open the right files)
can someone help me with this or does someone have a low droprate for a server with x25 exp rate (so not too high droprate)

1) you donwloaded the program pack from dope in the release section? there are pk tools and pk PWs inside.

2) I don'T have a droplist ^.^ and for me all programms work fine. Maybe you can try to make one per hand

yes i have the server tools from dop, and it has some nice tools in it, but i dont know how to use all, or which one i need to use to change pk-pass?

for changing pk pass you need winrar :P unpack the config and e.pk and pack it new with the new pw now you just need to hex edit the engine.exe for this new pw (first unpack engine :P ) [and don'T ask me how to change pw tehre :P I never successed :P)

but i cant unpack it since the password that i have is wrong ^^

altho, if i used gumby's guide and program to edit config and e then it says the pass is correct, then i try to extract the files and it says wrong password -.-'

where you get your pk from ? a repack? hm...if not...use clean pk and change tehre all thinks :) and than make new pw ^.^

someone helped me creating my server and thats the pk-password that he gave me, and now im editing by my self and it says its wrong password, a bit fishy isn't it...
anyways, i could make a new config but i have no clue what to put in it xD

well I hope I followed you so you said you can open the config.pk and look in it right? jsut look what is changed and change it in the new config well...or ask your freind if he know the right pw :P

but the strange part is, if i open with the program that gumby made (or someone else and he posted don't know) then it says that it is the right password...
