[Question] Effects on Armor?

Hello,
I know this question might be too old already..
But I checked through search, every topic turns into a flame war without any helpful answers.

So my question is, is it possible in a way or another to add effect on armors without a DLL ?

Like changing motions or something like that? any suggestion?
