Server on Vista//Windows Server 2008

I have a problem, i wanted to start ehn server on vista//windows server 2008 and did the same thinks as on windows xp. but on windows vista//2008 but the Kalonline server cant connect to the database server.
J hope anyone can help me.

do you see that I start the main server ? i think not. my problem is that when i click on the OK button to connect to the server, that the programm cant connect to it. Dont now why, I had an server on windows XP and j did the same and there was no problems but on vista/2008 I have the problem that the programm cant connect to the database.

I did the SQL server with Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

If you followed the guides then you wouldnt have this problem, i suggest you go back and retrace what you have done.

in System DNS, make kal_auth and kal_db to KAL_AUTH and KAL_DB, it worked for me
