hello i can't make backups,

I use SQL 2000,
but i think thats not the problem..

lol. it is runing... anyways this is how u back up in 2000.

BACKUP DATABASE [SA] TO
DISK = N'C:\databace\SA.bak',  
DISK = N'C:\SA.bak',  
DISK = N'D:\SA.bak' 

WITH INIT, FORMAT,  NAME = N'SA-Full Database Backup', 
SKIP, NOREWIND, NOUNLOAD,  STATS = 10
GO

Or did you have stopped the MySQL Device?

If you:

Press your windowsbutton and 'R' type in cmd
Press Run. write: sc start MSSQLSERVER. Same with MSSQLServerADHelper.

Or:

Press 'start' 'controlpanel' 'management' 'services' And Look for MSSQL Services. Right Click property and Startmode 'automatic' do the same with the other ones...
