    idea server supported players

I want to find out how many players can suport a server with the following configuration:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ 2.00 GHz
    RAM: 5 GB DDR2
    Bandwidth: 6 Mb/s

The bandwidth it's not so bigger. I want to know how many players can play on that.

Hello, that configuration is good for local servers up to 30-50 ppl inside (with geo u'll be having problems on server loading)

Any kind of server must be provided with a server machine.

ram and cpu is fine to host many ppl. more than 100 with a good configuration in mysql service.

maybe you will have a delay when your server is restarting but it is not a big problem.

if your internet upload speed is 6 mbs you can keep 100+ players.

And if I will get a better internet conection (100 mbs for example) the configuration(ram+cpu) can hold about 500 players for example or it's not enough and will stay at 100+?

if you set correctly the sql server you can handle them without problem.
