guyz i know the problem....well,go to login folder then to config and edit the file named:loginserver.properties...got to LoginServerHostname=now put here 0.0.0.0
the login server can't bind (yourserver.no-ip.info)
go to gameserver folder then to config folder and edit the file named:server.properties and where it says:# The Loginserver host and port
LoginPort=9014
LoginHost=(yourserver.no-ip.info)now put here 127.0.0.1
now you are ok

i have all the server config done, and going well
the only problem is what should I do with the client so that
i can run it on my server.
If use a clean client which just update to the newest retail client, it always told me
wrong password to login, so i guess it was not connecting my server but the retail one.
Does anyone have any ideas, hints or clues on how to fix my problem?

It's clear enough.... read the error message carefully and you'll note that the error log is telling you where the problem is... I just needed to watch that image for 2 secs to notice it, I'm sure you can do it too...Originally Posted by ZidioX

OK, i fixed this problem by edit the host file.
And my client can find my server and login now
The problem is every time after I login, the gamegarde pop out and told me there is a hacking programme.

Pointing where to look in order to fix the problem is not a pointless post. If you're expecting to get everything ready, forget it. that's not the spirit of the forums... Besides, when I started I took my time (really long time) to read enough and always try to fix the problems by my own... So don't try to come up with my start to justify yourself.
If you really want to learn, is better to see the problem by your own instead of having everything ready to use.

Well at the end of the day i dont want to spam this thread and receive infractions, I posted for a little help towards the right way on how to resolve this problem and just because you know exactly what your doing, You dont take into perspective people that learning for the first time its hard for them, Iv ran online games before but never used MYSQL and java for it.
I followed the guide exactly and im getting this error.

as you know.. every server listens on some port.. and if its already in use.. i guess thats what you get.
you have one port for your game server, one for login and i guess one to connect them together.. just spend some time on configs.
and to answer that "And who helps me now by my problem?".. no offense, but moms not around?
ever tryed the perspective when you've answered same questions a million times and ppl still have a problem with it?
besides if you actually took his advice, you would notice what he ment.. sure youre db doesnt exist you got that.. but i guess what he was trying to say is learn how to create one(dl navicat, best thing for noobs)

check configs and disable gg.. that should do it for a user like you ^^
First congratz.. you're probably the first noob that actually has an error, which wasnt coused by their stupidity.
i really havent figured out why.. and to be honnest i couldnt care less.. but sometimes mysql has a conflict with what the password should be..
so if you set a pass when installing mysql, set it in configs also and if not.. open up sql console or something to send querys with..
and reset pass with this: SET PASSWORD FOR 'root'@'localhost' = PASSWORD('MyNewPassword');
and then write it to your configs..
