Sell items to NPC for 0 adena?

Okay, so I have searched and read all on this issue and found very little. Yes, I know it's something in the source code. A little detailed explanation from someone who knows a little more about it than I would be great! I have tried the other option of making items not sellable in the database, but that interferes with the /buy shops and is just not a good alternative. Thank you for your help!

Well, the thing is that I think most of us have never looked at that part of the core code. I know that I'd have to look for a little while in the core to find where this is done, and maybe it's in multiple places(multisell/buylists...). I really dont understand why you dont just set all the prices to 1 adena, it would save you so much trouble...

I can sell items for 0 adena but reguardless of what price you sell them for the NPC will buy them back for it's original value.
