Protocol version is different

Hello, I'm trying to play LineAge 2 High Five on my mac with parallels but when I select server to play it gives error: protocol version is different..

Does anybody have idea on what's going on ?

where are you trying to log in? to your server or to another server?

I've the same problem while attempting to connect to Exilium servers. Issue occurs with either Parallels 9 and Vmware Fusion... game loads fine, but unable to get past server selection. Both virtualizations are using a direct ethernet connection to my router, rather than the host-ip (shared ip), either way, shared or direct connection, the "Protocol version is different" error displays.

Anyone know of a solution to this? I've tried different windows versions (xp, 7, 8) all on parallels and vmware fusion, through 10.9.1 (mavericks), and still unable to connect to exilium servers. Works fine on my pc.

if you are trying to connect using a vmware maybe the problem is from your mac os , maybe it blocks the connection.
