    Create user_items and room_items, why I said so?

    » Easier to configure if there's SQL errors, it'll show on Console.
    » Let's say something happens where you have to TRUNCATE table or DESTROY, you can backup, and re-insert the data.

    Simple right?

    Roper / Veelox, using a enum to get the type wouldn't be a good idea either ( Using too much mysql at high user count ), I'm talking about something like this:

    PHP Code:
    if (Item.== && Item.== && Item.== 0)
    {

    this.InventoryItem true;

    this.RoomItem false;
    }
    else
    {

    this.InventoryItem false;

    this.RoomItem true;

    You'r a damn faggot, go read some books about how to design a fast, yet lightweight MySQL database structure.

    I started the pages (not the tabs) without MySQL.. (Will be MySQL soon)
    Because the tabs were originally MySQL (:

    Well, I'm the faggot who's had your back since you've been on RZ when bitches are whining and crying about your criticism, and see my hotel has never failed, Echo Hotel had over 700 users at once with r35/r26, so please I know my SQL and also your spelling is incorrect. It won't slow SQL down at all, if you know what you're doing so therefore /facepalm to you, and /facepalm to Richard. Maybe you need to GOOGLE some shit up before your fucking dumbass try to debate with me about 2 LITTLE TABLES, fucking beginner.

    NOTE: SQL Servers only slow down with LARGE TABLES , not having so many tables, you can have 10,000 tables, with little info, and the server will still be at a sufficient speed. So please get your information straight, wanna-be developer.

    A smaller amount of tables with collective data, that is properly indexed and has a good table structure the better an faster. The less seeking your hard drive does, the better. Because MySQL is read/wrote from the hard drive It's best to be as efficient as possible. However, relaying on MySQL isn't such a good idea (for everything). It isn't the fastest thing. Because we all know hard drives are the slowest component in a computer, with the exepction of a top-end SSD. If I had the motivation, which with this community, I don't and won't ever I would write a server that uses an object database and caches most user values. The server shouldn't be totally dependant on something that has to read/write from a hard drive. If it is, after many people are on, you will get a fair amount of lag. And no, I'm not talking about 20 users. I'm talking more of 300 +.

    No one here, in the HH section besides private deveopers take performance into account. There's the flawed ideology that "Gee this works". Well yeah it does, but will it be this good when 400 people are trying to access it?

    Ares, I don't believe your hotel had 700 users online. You're also wrong about large tables. They aren't slower.

    Well, Matthew, that's something you have to deal with on your own, about my old hotel's population, eh? No need for me to debate on that.

    However, I am not wrong about larger tables.

    » MySQL having large tables does awesomely effect the performance of the server
    » You can have small amounts of data in many tables as you please, in my opinion, it doesn't matter how many tables you have, it's about the amount that's contained in those tables.

    I thought this was based on HabboPlus ;o But I see ION? Someone mind telling me when exactly you've changed your mind on using ION as a base.

    AresCJ you've got it totally wrong, You need good database structure no matter how much entrys are given, Database structure & Caching is needed if you want a "stable" hotel.

    But yeah, people that leech other projects ( Hebbo's & Maartens r32 server ) like you don't give a shit about it cuz their to dumb to understand that.

    If you don't like him, why bother replying to him. Just ignore him. Also, it isn't fair that we all go off-topic on DJQuack's thread.
