YOU!, BACK TO SCHOOL!
2000 = 2sec as you sayd lol.Code:$('.register').hide(); $('.fade .content').hide(); $('.fade .content').fadeIn(2000); $('.tagline').hide(); $('.tagline').fadeIn(2000); $('.headtext').hide(); $('.headtext').fadeIn(2000); $('.online').hide(); $('.online').fadeIn(2000);
That was your post, figured you had asked Jupos.
Anyways,
I don't know if that quote explains itself or if it is only for AJAX, but personally I just feel that with .html loads a bit faster, I don't know if I'm totally right but that's how I feel.It is widely accepted that fast-loading pages improve the user experience. In recent years, many sites have started using AJAX techniques to reduce latency. Rather than round-trip through the server retrieving a completely new page with every click, often the browser can either alter the layout of the page instantly or fetch a small amount of HTML, XML, or javascript from the server and alter the existing page.
Your 2sec fade != My 2sec fade
Jquery's fadein 'slow' is too fast - Stack Overflow
Edit-
I'm still in school btw?!?!
Uhm, It's just a file that's the server sends?
But, html pages are indeed faster then php pages
I can't see the diffents about a number 2000?!
And I don't even use the slow option?
Lol?Code:$('#fade2000').click(function(){ $('#fade2000-box').fadeOut(2000, function(){ $(this).fadeIn(2000); }); });
Lol, I just came up with something;
BeerCMS
Who wants to get hammered?
Updates
- Still trying to get Hejula's new layout on the CMS... (slow because im tired)
- Patched an exploit :D (also updated on the site)
- Planning on recoding the MySQL system to make it more efficient
I don't quite know how to say this but here goes...
My entire PC just got fucked up a few hours ago because my graphics card got fried by something. I couldn't even start my PC so I have to use a crappy backup one, as my dad was fixing it he couldn't get it working so he re-installed everything so I called him a "fucking dicked". So basically the short story is... I have lost everything. Mod please close thread as I am NOT going to code everything again. I spent many hours of many days working on it as well, feels like such a waste. :'(
Sorry for this, for now I am going to start learning Java or continue learning more PHP to improve my skills. ^^
Might help Hejula with his CMS if the bitch lets me :P

So you where saying your graphics card is broken and you dad is going to re-install your OS?
FTW, Buy a new graphics card (Whats out of the watts it's using) and change it with the broken one.
Reboot your pc and fixed?!
Also, If you dad is re-installing your OS, you can choose to don't format you hdd.
