    [CMS][Dev] MangoCMS

    Hello all!
    I've been working on a private project which was initially started for bubbo.co.uk however some people have expressed interest so i have decided that i will release and opensource the CMS when it's at a releasable state.

    So far, this is what i have:

    Frontend:
    Login = 100%
    Register = 100%
    Client = 100%
    Me = 100%
    My Account = 95% (more styling and juggling about required)
    News = 95% (more styling and juggling about required)
    Logout = 100%
    Supports Multiple Emulators (Phoenix, Uber etc) = YES!
    Figure caching = Yes! Downloads and caches the looks locally instead of loading from habbo, allows for options such as figure.php?user=danny&action=wav&direction=3 etc.

    Housekeeping:
    Login = 100%
    Logout = 100%
    New news article = 100%
    List articles = 95% (Need to finish ordering on news articles)
    List topstory images = 100%
    Add topstory image = 100%
    New Campaign = 100%
    List Campaigns = 95% (Need to finish ordering on campaigns)
    List campaign images = 100%
    Add campaign image = 100%
    User info = 100%
    IP user lookup = 100%
    Badge Definitions = 100%
    Client Config = 100%
    Site Config = 100%
    Emulator Config = 50% (Need to add multiple emulator support in here)
    Word Filter = 80% (Need to add multiple emulator support in here)
    External Texts = 100%
    External variables = 100%
    Missing furni finder = 100%

    When desiging and creating MangoCMS i took into consideration what everyone wants. A fast loading website that just, works!
    MangoCMS out of the box will support ALL R63 emulators that are available and future ones e.g. Phoenix, Uber, Snowlight etc.

    MangoCMS uses Smarty template engine which decreases page load time dramatically and increasing the response time

    Live preview can be viewed at Bubbo - Login

    Nothing has been ripped from your "Mabbo" CMS, its completely different. You make it sound like your completely up your own arse and as if your the only one who can make a good looking design.

    Sorry, that was NOT my intention.

    I made a presumption, as it looks a little similar to my design.

    Its unfortunate that you forgot to mention that you're using Phoenix PHP as your base. Although I do like some of the aspects you've made: Housekeeping.

    This is a prime example. (Bubbo - Register) - All you've done is create (step2.php and index.php) from the /register/ directory into one file. Although you have taken the time to change everything so well done for patching that up.

    I don't like it so much... You pretty much stole mabbohotel.net/me 's design, it's practically the same thing(things put in the same place, same box design, etc) but worse. I like the index though.

    Good luck, but be-ware: It's better to start a CMS from scratch than basing it from PhoenixPHP.(That's if, this is based from PhoenixPHP).

    The best way to start from scratch is by creating the whole design in HTML and CSS. Then start coding in PHP and Javascript.

    Example: (Yes I created this shit under 5 minutes).

    I failed to mention that i'm using Phoenix PHP as my base because I'm not. It's coded from the ground up nothing is taken from any other CMS's available

    I actually like it.. at first I didn't but after seeing the live demo thing on the Bubbo website I changed my mind! Nice work my friend - should be nice to see this completed.

    Oh - on the content boxes for the header, it would look nicer if you used padding-top and padding-bottom for the text - would center it perfectly...

    Thanks! Things are still a bit choppy but the development is going well, quite a lot of things will be optimised prior to release

    I can tell you now that this CMS is not Phoenix PHP based. It was made from scratch and has been in development privately for a while now until today.

    Nothing from Mabbo CMS was taken at all. This cms does feature a template system so redesigning the whole CMS is as easy as clicking your fingers. You don't even need php knowledge to create a template for the CMS.

    It was started from scratch.

    I know what your thinking, is because of the "figures" which are displayed on the register page. This was not there initially and I put that idea of having the figures on the register page forward to Danny and it was implemented recently.

    Correction: You should use (line-height: x;) (x representing the height of your header).
