    config RubyCMS

    Hi guys,

    I'm BlasterWacks, a Dutch 14 y/o developer, some of the dutch guys may know me al Clockwork or Exotical on other forums.

    A couple days ago me and some friends of mine started a new project called RubyCMS, there is already a topic on it on a Dutch forum, but i thought; Lets share it with RageZone :P

    Well, to make a long story short: The thing you see above is the Ruby logo! Ruby is goin' to be a Habbo Content Management System, scripted from scratch, and I personally think that you are going to love the look :D It will become a clear, easy to manage, good working system.
    I still want to thank by buddy Mauro for the logo as I find it amazing.

    Ofcourse, every CMS needs a management panel, Ruby is going to have Sharp Panel! I can't post any screens on that because the dash isn't finished yet, but it's really pretty, and because we don't want you guys to have a headache when you see it or try to use it, the simplicity stands central

    Progress
    Well, we've bin working on it for like a week now, so we have some nice stuff for you guys:

    The index page:
    Spoiler:

    The register page:

    Spoiler:

    The me page:
    Spoiler:

    Snippets:
    As I am doing the PHP in this whole project, I will post some snippets for you guys:

    class.register.php:
    Spoiler:

    PHP Code:
    if (isset($_POST['username'], $_POST['email'], $_POST['p'])) {    $username filter_input(INPUT_POST'username'FILTER_SANITIZE_STRING);    $email filter_input(INPUT_POST'email'FILTER_SANITIZE_EMAIL);    $email filter_var($emailFILTER_VALIDATE_EMAIL);    if (!filter_var($emailFILTER_VALIDATE_EMAIL)) {        $error_msg .= 'Er klopt geen fuck van je emailadres.';    }

    $password filter_input(INPUT_POST'p'FILTER_SANITIZE_STRING);    if (strlen($password) != 128) {        $error_msg .= 'Password fout biatch.';    }    $prep_stmt "SELECT id FROM members WHERE username = ? LIMIT 1";    $stmt $mysqli->prepare($prep_stmt);     if ($stmt) {        $stmt->bind_param('s'$username);        $stmt->execute();        $stmt->store_result();        if ($stmt->num_rows == 1) {            $error_msg .= 'Er bestaat al een gebruiker met deze username.';        }

    Our config:
    Spoiler:

    PHP Code:
    <?php
    define
    ("HOST""localhost");     // The host you want to connect to.define("USER", "root");    // The database username. define("PASSWORD", "******");    // The database password. define("DATABASE", "db");    // The database name.define("HOTELNAAM", "Ruby"); // Your hotel namedefine("DOMEIN", "RubyCMS.nl"); // The domain for your hotel
    define("FB_LOIGN"true); // Enable Facebook login?
    Spoiler:

    Our config looks like this because Ruby is going to have an installer, so it doesn't really care,

    I really hope that you support us, and are all exited over this post right now!

    Cya later guys,

    Re: RubyCMS

    I don't like the design.

    I almost thought you was going to program the CMS in Ruby, and got excited. Then I saw it's another PHP CMS. Good luck.

    Had the same. Would've been interested if it was really Ruby.

    Good luck

    Design isn't too bad. Not to keen on the colours though.

    It looks like it may come out good, though I'm not sure the green really suits it. I would suggest trying red, black, or blue.

    Re: RubyCMS

    Frontpage is nice, registration page is nice, the problem is the me page. I would remove the rounded borders. They are just ugly. If I were you I would leave them all flat. It'll look nicer that way.

    You also need to add more space (margin) between stuff... it looks chaotic and hard to look at. This design has potential, good luck!

    Re: RubyCMS

    I thought it was in Ruby, then I wanted to slice my wrist. I don't mind the design, till the user is logged in, it looks weird lol.

    Meh, the top of the content containers are not appealing. Other then that, good work. Hopefully you finish this because 90% of shit in this section doesn't get finished.

    Re: RubyCMS

    Great index and register design. The /me page looks kind of unstructured. Maybe it was rushed?
    It is a wired name counting that this is to be coded in PHP. Tbh, something like DiamondCMS (wtf?) would be better.

    I am looking forward to see this completed.
    Best of luck to you and your development team.
