I just want to show the work i did on your emulator and if you (Quackster) are against that it's not a problem, just contact me and i will delete this post.

I'm writing here to maybe find some persons who are interested by joining me.
It will always be a NON OFFICIAL work, but i just wanna try to go somewhere with this.

There is a LOT of things added / fixed, you may find a list some post ago or you can check the commit log in GitHub, i try to keep a detailled trace of all work done by commiting. The best way is to test it anyway. I wrote a little Wiki on GitHub too if you want to check.

There is my fork of Quackster's Sierra Emulator : http://github.com/Shynoshy/SierraEmulator

YOU WILL SEE THAT A FORK OF THIS PROJECT AND IT'S NOT OFFICIAL SIERRAEMULATOR.

I'm doing this because i want to support Quackster work, and that what i find amazing in collaborative work and open source projects, everybody can improve if they want. So, that's my contribution.

Again, if you want to work with me on this, just contact me. If Quackster, you don't want this post on your thread, i will totally understand and delete my post as soon as i can.
No it's lovelly work. I appreciate it. :) But I'll be coding it myself anyway ;D

It's not stealing if you have permission and credit the original author.

I thought the whole point of GIT was to allow people to contribute to the work as you go on?

From the GitHub website: "Git is an extremely fast, efficient, distributed version control system ideal for the collaborative development of software."

Now, collaboration means working together to reach a goal you have set. So in this case it would be the completion of Sierra Emulator as best it can be. From this Quackster, I think that accepting his help would aid the development of this emulator. Otherwise there is no point in using GIT.

I do understand he wants to code by his own and i don't disapprove this. I want to learn Java and i'm looking for people who want to learn too.

I'm just not making a new thread since i forked from his project.

Nothing wrong with displaying YOUR work. You're a pretty sympathic person. It will only encourage Alex :)

Please for god's sake, if you can't stand even 1 little joke, you can better go kill yourself.
If you cry at every joke, what's the point of living?

Okay, some bugs i discovered for you Alex :

    * Walks threads are using same ressources when users walk same time -> Walk getting mad (fixed it making a new thread manager with own variables).
    * At login, you're making tons of new Habbo() or newHabbo() who call new Habbo() ... Not really a problem but i don't know if Java free unused / unsaved memory pointers, if not it could be a problem.
    * Problems with Room caching. You're caching room like it was Session, meaning that if user is not connected, his rooms are unseen to rest of connected, and that a bit weird i guess ? (Solved it by caching rooms at launch with an INNER JOIN query to retrive Owner name from rooms.ownerid, don't know if my sentence make sense but don't know how to explain in English ^^ )
