I don't know which one I use.. The swfs before the new crypto don't describe the release in the code.
It's not a big script so.. (You've to create the directory 'cache')

Re: The IDK Project [Java]
Good luck on the development. Once you've released it, I'm going to try it on Linux.

You're really sliding through this. Glad to see someone who actually sticks to their development and has a lot of time to work on it.

Are you planning to make all the old and new wireds?

I know I'm a bit late however, no time like the present eh? I'm loving this project so far, it does look promising. You've got majority of things done and not many emulators have got fireworks either. Some have, but Phoenix hasn't. Well, it has but come on not the charging bit. I've subscribed to the thread, I'd love to see what else you've got in store for us! Shock us viewers.
Re: The IDK Project [Java]
Wow, a project that looks promising. Better report this guy to Ella ^.^
(all jokes aside amigo) I haven't seen you state anywhere why you chose Java? Is there a particular reason to it? And will you eventually host this and make a live demo for people to check out?
Best of luck amigo.

Java is a robust programming language which is used in almost every category.. and it's even actually flexible. So I thought why not java? I'll think about a testhotel when the server is finished.
Cheers,

Actually, Java is very useful since (and I quote this from a guy on a Dutch forum so if you think this statement is bad please say so I can flame him) it can run on Linux and C# can't and C# you need to run on Windows Server and it's not good to run it on a server with GUI because of the performance.
It also runs on every platform, unlike C#.

c# can be run on linux via mono.
c# runs fine with a gui.
c# also runs fine withouth a GUI on windows server. (server core, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R1) (AS LONG ITS A CONSOLE APPLICATION)

Every language could run on every system if you write a runtime environment for it.. I'm currently sorting the catalogue and fixxing some furnis.

But he said because Windows Server has GUI it slows down performance. You're Dutch so this is the original post:
Quote:
Omdat Windows een OS is met een GUI, als je een server draait wil je geen GUI hebben omdat dat een verspilling van server resources is.
It was a discussion about 'how to run a java emulator' and then this guy said to use a Linux Server since Windows Server has GUI.
