Yes. Read what i said. I will implement this LATER. Is more important:
a. bot saying blabla
b. server crashing with 5 users? (that doesn't happen on Yupi but is an example)

Hey ov, not sure if you're able to do this, but adding the soccer ball as a feature to fix would be a very nice feature. I mean 100% like habbo as there is quite a big community for habbo soccer waiting for a retro to get the ball fixed so they can move there from habbo. No exisiting retros have that feature 100% coded as far as I know of.

https://www.habbo.com/room/72326535
Made a Habbo room and bought 2 balls so you can test it out, but main features like.
1. Trapping the ball (you do this by clicking one space in front of the ball, no matter what direction you're looking at)
2. Shooting the ball once you have trapped it (you do this by click 1 space away from the ball and it will shoot in the opposite direction)
https://i.gyazo.com/2d5d9e01f1b1fee9...3690ce9cd8.gif
3. Shooting at corners (usually on retros it will make the ball bounce back at the direction you were shooting from, but its supposed to shoot the opposite way)
https://i.gyazo.com/18f320905edfe2be...f2dadbb95c.gif
Can't really think of any other features as of right now but if i'll find anything else I will post it here. Feel free to visit my habbo room and test it yourself :)

I've not been using Yupi, I was just assuming it was not working as no retros so far have the feature. However when I try to debug your emulator I get this: Screenshot by Lightshot but i've set the furnidata file through the emu settings and cms correct? If you have a live/test hotel I can get on, I can tell you exactly what works and what does not :)
-
re: Yupi Emulator [C# 6/NHibernate/Post-Shuffle]
... You need put Your Furni Data URL. and need be a Valid XML file (Remember only Habbo.com and Habbo's without Special Chars in .XML will be assumed as Valid..)

I'll try making a test server with all your files probably my xml script making it not work.
However do you know of any exisiting retros that uses this which I can test on :) ?

Ball will bug sometimes and you can't kick it afterwards.
Ball is moving too fast.
You can not trap the ball (the thing I showed in my first gif)

Why is the connection limit per ip set to 1?
If this is for security or somthing like that, it might be nice to have a
UsersPerIp=1 setting
Or is it because its not done yet?

Probably to prevent users from using bots, booters, etc.

Exactly. At Habbo when you log in in other Account, the already logged in account disconnects.
You can have 1 user logged by IP.
But XXX Connections Amount configured in Config File. (Connections equal amount of Simultaneous Sockets from your Account).
Also that is for BOTS and DoS

So basicly on habbo, you cant even play with your sister/brother at the same time?

Huh not true. I play with both accounts on 1 PC..... 2 different browsers, bullshit at all. LOL
-
That's not what i said.
You can on Habbo log-in only (at Client) one user by IP. (you can't have concurrent connections).
Why you will stay logged in in two or more accounts in same pc? (do you have multiple personas??)
The thing is people love create fake acc and stay connected at same time, or create fake acc's to help the original acc to earn achievements, etc.
You can see that is not possible at original servers.
Have multiple users logged in at same time in an Emulator isn't a feature. Is a Security issue.
This issue is what mainly ables the existence of the bots.
Since when you try change your ip, your current connection disconnects. (in Yupi and Habbo works in that way) because Habbo and Yupi uses IP Address as Connection identifier and not a uint ID from ConnectionAmount.. (like is in other emus)...
If you try change IP to enter in more accounts, the account that is active disconnects, since change IP resets the Adapter (also VPN).
Yes if u want you can change IP, but your current connection will be closed.
Also you have a limit for Multiple Connections opened to Emulator (when i mean connection mean sockets)
Since Habbo Client uses 3 sockets in a Client life cycle (some times more than these 3 (the first two ones are closed after Cross Domain Auth).. So if you have more connections alive in same time than the maximum allowed by configuration, you be banned.
Of course you can after that change your IP and try again.
The concern is the BOTS will ever get to Start User Data, since in the Socket Handshake these Verification is being made.
So Yupi has the best "socket system and socket security" than every other active Emulator from this Community.
Since EVERY Emulator that i know don't follows these schema.
Yupi has a lot of bad things, but i'm rewriting section by section.
Cheers,
Yupi Updated.
Closing development.
I will continue it in next month.
Reason: Writing a Scientific Paper.... (That means, i have no time this month..)
Sorry for being late to advise people in this thread.
Thread reopened! Development being Continued! Posting Updates now!
Commited to Yupi Emulator.
Remembering: Yupi core is being refactored and moved, so you can't build Yupi, since will get 6k Errors, we're actually refactoring Packets Composers and Message Handlers. We will announce when Yupi will be ready to be used again.
Commited to Yupi!

Yes the new Release will have Camera, like the actual Release. Remembering that Yupi's Camera is BETA. And the API is discontinued. I strongly recommend using @The General 's Acturus Emulator. As far i saw his CAMERA is really awesome, already working special effects, and partially all textures working.
Also yes when the new Release being Drafted from LINUX branch, we will rewrite the Catalogue.

In the recent years, Microsoft open-sourced the .NET Framework in addition to an effort in making it cross-platform. While also making it cross-platform they threw out some old APIs and added some new stuff as well. ASP.NET Core being perhaps the biggest new thing with this platform where you can run an ASP.NET web-app on a Linux server rather than a heavy and expensive Windows-server. While having some similarities with Mono, .NET Core is the direction the .NET platform is taking but Mono has better backwards-compatibility than .NET Core in terms of framework-versions. The only downside of using .NET Core is that you most likely have to rewrite some code (sockets, some db stuff for the most part), and if you have any NuGet/third-party libs they would have to support .NET Core for you in order to utilize the cross-platform goodness. .NET Core was released as RTM about a month ago. https://www.microsoft.com/net/core

Nice to see this is still in development, keep up the good work! Hope the linux branch is stable and buildable soon, im excited to test it :), take your time to make it. Better have a stable emulator with more features and clean code, then a faster released emulator with 10000 buggs and crappy code.

We only pretend update to new release really latter. Since this new catalogue is a xit.
But you want this new catalogue?

+1 for Jonteh.
You guys need to decide what libraries you want to use and keep it that way.
Quality is better then quantity and that defiantly applies to programming.

Re: New Yupi Emulator [PostShuffle/C#6/Hibernate/Thrower/log4net/DotNetty/SuperSocket
Ditch DotNetty, stick with SuperSockets.
Although I do get why you have both, different socket libraries, different architecture. So I am in no way agreeing with Jonty.

Nevermind, the ability of the end-user to choose which library he want to use is great. Also the libraries goes through an unified implementation, so doesn't matter if you choose SS or DN...
Obviously in my opinion DotNetty is better, but have some glitches yet..

Different arch? So what you are saying is that some server or computer hardware may not support SuperSockets or DotNetty?
-
Re: New Yupi Emulator [PostShuffle/C#6/Hibernate/Thrower/log4net/DotNetty/SuperSocket
Why use either? Is it really that damn complicated to build a socket class using System.Net.Sockets? I'm just guessing but I'm assuming that, as opposed to a library, there should be zero question about the availability of that class.

Performance is really better with reactive socket libraries and NIO socket libraries.

No, but DotNetty is still under development. SuperSocket and DotNetty have performance differences. Test yourself. DotNetty is quick to handle sockets. SuperSocket is fast to handle and send messages.

Try thinking of it as an open-source project rather than an emulator for a second. Seems to make your statement about compatibility a tad invalid disregarding the fact that no one spoke on it (except you) anyways.

Re: New Yupi Emulator [PostShuffle/C#6/Hibernate/Thrower/log4net/DotNetty/SuperSocket
Some updates in Yupi!
We are working in the Habbo Encryption.
You can see in the repository some stuff done like:
- ARC4
- BigInteger class that extends .NET 4.5 BigInteger (we doesn't want to move to .NET 4.5.2 for now..)
- RNG Crypto Service Provider
- RSA Encryption
- Diffie-Helmann
Observation.: Regarding that ARC4 isn't anymore safe and easy to be bruteforce by dictionary attacks.
We have a suggestion to create a patcher that is able to change the Encryption method in Habbo.swf to SHA2 or AES

Migration from .NET 4.5 to 4.5.2?
Do you think we need to move to .NET 4.5.2? That ports some improvements for us like:
- We doesn't need to implement in our own way the BigInteger Methods like Prime checks, and Prime probabilities (https://github.com/sant0ro/Yupi/commit/b2a904df26fa8a303c7e01dd2b52666eadbf9fb7#diff-cd1062ec6e3058652e1f2b4489bd2c32R1)
- Improvements that are important for things like FootBall, cause:
- Improvements in Queues and Workers
- Synchronous Listeners and Actions
- Does we need move to C# 6 Roslin?
And the Mono compatibility issues?
Give your suggestion here

I'd like to see where you get this information from, because at the moment no such methods exists.
