A few questions about setting up Shock / Mercury Emu

    Hey Guys,
I am trying to make a Hotel using Shock CMS and Mercury Emulator /+swfs (Xampp)
So I have "a few" questions and hope somebody can help me.

    1. Do I have to import the .sql from Shock CMS and the .sql from Mercury in ONLY ONE (the same) database in Phpmyadmin?

    2. Do I have to change something within the database in phpmyadmin?

    3. What File I have to open to edit the Figurdata path in Mercury Emu? I know I have to use Visual Stuido to open the Mercury Source, but which file is it?

    4. I tried setting up the Shock CMS. The index works fine, but I cannot create a new account.
When i click on "Join now" it redirects me to a blank page. (Sitelink: localhost/register/start)
When I enter "localhost/register.php" it shows a site to register, but when I want to continue, it says "something went wrong" (See pic below)

    (Last question)
    5. What Do I have to setup in Shock CMS? Which files?

Thank you for your help! :) It would really help me.

    1: Yes
    2: Probably
    3: idk, I don't use that shit.
4: Instal URL rewrite if you are using IIS 7 and import the .htaccess rules if there is no web.config available. If using xampp make sure you have a .htaccess file in the root folder (htdocs).
5: Make sure you have set the config file correctly.

A little question.. I am using Mercury Emulator because it sounds really good to me (all the new stuff, features and the new Habbo UI...)
Is there a better emulator? Because I really want to use many features of the original habbo, so Mercury sounds good to me..
Can you propose me a good emu?

Anyway, thanks for the answers :)

Mercury is probably the most up-to-date and it's being worked on a lot. However, like most emulators Mercury has its bugs. If you take a look at other threads in this section you'll clearly notice the large amount of help threads for Mercury. The pathfinder isn't brilliant either.

I wouldn't recommend using Shock if you don't know how to fix bugs and patch a few exploits. I used it for a few months but had a developer spend hours fixing it. It's also very slow, no caching or anything.

Guys, don't get offtopic. Help him with his problems and don't start another useless discussion what you think is better to use.

Help this guy out or just don't comment.
