Catalog Sub Cateory

I've been looking for a solution for this problem for some time now but Ive recently updated to the new headers and my catalog sub sections do not display the drop down arrow as displayed in the picture provided, could anyone assist me on how to find a fix for this issue?

Let me undestand: sub sections are working (I mean, you can click them to show more items) but the arrow is not being displayed?
