I believe you cannot undo the effect on compressing, you will need to find a un-compressed swf to edit.
If I had one I would upload it but I do not as now.
I think you mean decompiling? I forgot the name of the program but its call rasadm something to that effect with the name it decompile the .swf into .bin files I believe? (I might be thinking of SWF Furniture Editor)

I know you can decompress it to other ways, rasdam, trillix, the furniture tool editor, AS3 give's a script for the source... It all depends on what he is looking for...
