Emu - Client - CMS connected but not to eachother?

Hey I'm having some issues with the results of this tutorial:

    http://forum.ragezone.com/f335/tut-r...etro-ui-996178

My EMU says its all connected and everything, however, it doesn't actually connect to the client or the cms? I've tried changing all the locations, localhost, 127.0.0.1 and my actual IP but sod all changes, just remains the same.

Also, after looking at and trying all provided solutions to the client not loading, mine still remains black, I'm convinced its related to the emulator though.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

If it remains black (and doesn't even show any sort of Habbo loader), then it has nothing to do with the emulator, but the configurations of the SWFs themselves. Can you provide all your configs? (CMS config, external_variables, client config, etc)

Managed to sort this, not sure 100% how, I think it was a mixture of things, mostly link related (local/ip/file destination). Now I'm stuck on the next most common issue (apparently)...After hotel view I get logged out. Not even got a clue where to start looking with that...

Thanks all the same, sorry for not stating I solved it earlier.

And usually I get told off for non-instructive, clueless answers (OT: It's clearly nothing to do with ports if the SWFs wouldn't even load)

How soon does it 'log out'? 1-2 seconds after hotel view shows or much longer than that? Does your emulator show any errors/exceptions or show any connections?

Portforwarding isn't the answer to resolve this issue if your loader image isn't appearing. As mentioned above, it's likely to be your SWFs configuration. When trying to load the client, press F12, go over to console and check if there are any errors marked red. Those errors will give you more information on what the issue is. If you don't know what they mean, post them here.

Make sure there is some default data for the public rooms in the navigator.

Yeah, it wasn't a port issue.

How soon does it 'log out'? 1-2 seconds after hotel view shows or much longer than that? Does your emulator show any errors/exceptions or show any connections?
Yes 1-2 seconds, my avatar loads bottom left, then as the navigation ops up, the client redirects and I'm logged out, the emu shows handlers, logs me...some more handlers (body loads?)...then logs me out.

Make sure there is some default data for the public rooms in the navigator.
How is this achieved if the client doesn't load? Via the database?

Check the table that has the navigator's data and check for any rows that don't have a value. You could also possibly try new navigator SQLs, simply pick them out of a new SQL release that's compatible with your emulator.

Can you delete all your logs in the emulator, join the hotel again so it generates new logs when you join, and then post them here?

Yes, in the navigator_publics table or something. Depending on your emulator. You can find a public-related table and see if it has default content in it, which I'm pretty sure it does.
