    Encrypting IP

    Hi ..
I'm having problems with Ddos attacks and wanted to know if it is possible to encrypt the IP address of my VPS server where my hotel is located.
Eg I want to see the source code when they open to get my IP want to see letters instead of the IP address, if you know what I mean. Example...
    My Localhost

Now on a pirate server I found ...

I wonder how I can do this encryption method.
    Hugs.

You can't solve this, by using this method.

Even encrypting your application, you can still check through your network switch, router or whatever, the outgoing packets and find the IP & Port for that...

Any connection is going to give an ip out. Even if its masked using a java based hosting system its still going to enable or take inward connections.

You're looking for a TCP proxy basically. They accept incoming connections and forward them all to your emulator. The most well-known (and pricey) solution is Java pipe.

There are other better ones too, such as for example HyperFilter, it costs more, but it is more reliable than java pipe and have almost no false positives during an attack, still for 'very low budget servers' javapipe would come first, since they don't have any other option...

You can do this by editing the Habbo.swf and put the IP inside it. However it won't hide your IP and they can still find it out just by going onto the client.

Yes, packet sniffing is very easy.

any way you do it will reveal your files and ip. a proxy masks your ip through their dns but resolves to you soz.. and everything can be found via packet sniffing.

    Re: Encrypting IP

You need to add the IP of the VPS SWF, there are some tutorials on some forums on Habbo who teach that!

But I do not know if they work perfectly! But it's there.

    I hope I helped!

I have never had any issues with JavaPipe even with people trying very hard to take me down

This stuff is case by case, I've had tons of issues with javapipe for mid to high sized attacks... Making me having to switch the protection.

Oh fair enough, I suppose we dont get alot of attacks then, we do get a lot of traffic though.

For phoenix (pre crypto) you can put the ip in the habbo.swf
I forgot how to do it but you can ask Leenster where you can put it in.
