I assume You have to set the path of your external variables in either rev's config file or client.php.

Tried editing config.php in app/management/ but the error still goes on. Also edited externable_variables.txt and nothing. The CMS tables weren't touched..

As you can see in the developer tools, chrome couldn't find the external variables file. You need to include the correct path to it. Might be hardcoded in your client.php (in your skins folder)

Find the url leading to your external variables file.

So I put "/63/" instead of "{external_variables}". Now there is no error on the console but the client bar doesn't load and stays on "conecting.."

Check the source of client.php with your browser and see what {eternal_vars} actually prints out, check that the file can actually be found in that path.

And if you got it working but still client ain't connecting, iäd say that it's a problem connecting with emu, does emulator say anything or does client.php reload after a while?
