[Help] Phoenix 3.11.0 Swfs and Error

Hi,
i need help with a error i get on Phoenix 3.11.0
i downloaded it from here: http://forum.ragezone.com/f353/sourc...11-0-a-943733/

i used navicat to run phoenix 3.11.0.sql after that i ran FIX.sql

and i get this error "Error in server status update task caught"

Are you using a beta version of MySQL or something? Because that error shouldn't familiarise with versions of MySQL that were compatible with Phoenix.

i use xampp 1.7.3

It's strange, I used the same Phoenix just now on my XAMPP setup (latest version) and it works fine. Are you running it cleanly before making edits just to ensure it works? Like import the database then run the emulator to make sure it's working before making any changes to the database (might even want to try it before running the fix.sql)

yes i have tried but if i dont run the fix and start the emu it wont even start

and u have to have the emulator on for 1-2 minutes before the error comes it comes after 10 secs for me :/

I had the emulator running for at least 10 minutes and it didn't show. I'm really not sure what's causing it I'm afraid. Which OS is the machine you're running it on?

Windows 8.1

did you install mysql connector or something or is it just xampp 1.8.3?

i use DoctorCooper's SWF pack is that okay?

You can always try use a different SWF pack if you suspect that is the issue, but I doubt it is. Works fine on my Windows 8.1 too, and I probably have MySQL connector installed, not sure - but if you don't have it installed, try install it.

32 bit or 64 on the computer? and you can check if you have a connector in control panel on uninstall applications its called mysql connector i believe and can you send me a download link to the file? and how do i install it into xampp?

Try delete the table then query this

Okay so you've claimed to use a completely clean database without editing it. It can really only be some sort of software/service on your/the computer that is conflicting with the C# coding of the emulator.

My next and temporary solution would be to try on a VM or try it on a different PC if you have one available (or if you're willing to spend out a little - getting a VPS is always the best thing to do).

Oki the bug is pretty simple your PC does not support the PerformanceCounter.
So just remove the line

 new PerformanceCounter("Processor", "% Processor Time", "_Total"); 

I also dont know why it is there because it just make all the time a new PerformanceCounter what takes much memory because it never dispose

So just remove that line and then is it fixed :d
