    sad In need of noob assistance with my V22 externals on Holo EMU?

    I know I am using a very old Holo Graph Emulator, but it is the only thing I found that is at least open source to work and learn with rather then a closed source PHOENIX. Unfortunately I do not know C# but I am willing to learn in my spare time. One absurd part about this is I cannot decompile the .cct's extensions unlike the .swf's on phoenix which are very easy to decompile and edit.

    However the issue I am encountering might be simple or not. I configured everything I can in my knowledge with the retro, it is up and running, I am logged-in in a room as we speak lol. Obviously I configured my external vars and texts, and bin for the emulator. The only down side I am facing is all the furniture in the catalogue is just a bunch of PH-BOXES or NO-ICONS. Although I can purchase "HC", "Paint" "Pet Items", and a pack of "Stickies". I cannot purchase any furniture what so ever.

    I am not sure if I have bad externals, or it just needs a minor change, but any information or helping me solve my problem using team viewer to connect to my computer would be beneficial!

    Ok so I have no idea what to do with this folder called "furni", it has loads of .cct furniture so I am positive this is it. But how else do I go about setting it up?

    There's a key in external_variables, which will set the link for furni.

    dynamic.download.url is the first part of the path, in your case:

    dynamic.download.url=http://127.0.0.1/furni/

    Then dynamic.download.name.template is the name of the furni, in your case:

    dynamic.download.name.template=hh_furni_xx_%typeid%.cct

    That will work.

    Yeah, I know how to. But it isn't possible to edit the Lingo code (Lingo = the AS3 of the .ccts, so the scripts) or else you need to find somebody who can retrieve Lingo codes from ccts, however, I can't. But you can edit images / add NEW scripts.

    First of all, you need 2 programs. One is called recover-cct, one is called Macromedia Director MX 2004.

    Recover-cct: recover-cct.rar
    Macromedia director MX 2004: Google yourself please.

    Now, unzip recover-cct somewhere. Doubleclick on the .exe and search for your .cct file. You need to open the same .cct 2 times, then another window will open of recover-cct and a link on your webbrowser will open (you can click it away, it doesn't work anymore) and you need to click the window away. Open Macromedia Director MX 2004 (after installing etc..) Click on open and find your .cst (same folder as recover-cct is in, and it's name is unprotected_CCTNAME.cst). You see a window with Name # . Script etc, there you can edit images (for preview, rightclick on the window -> View -> Thumbnail). Edit images, if you're done, make sure if you edited a furni, you edit everything that for example says hh_furni_xx_360 (already a custom furni, just an example) in something different, for example hh_furni_720. Rightclick on Cast NUMBER:unprotected_CCTNAME and click on Rename panel group. If you had hh_furni_720 in the previous step, use hh_furni_720 again. Then save (control+s), go to Xtras, go to Update Movies.., check Convert to Shockwave Movie(s), click on browse and go to a folder (backup folder with .cst files), click on ok, double click on your .cst file, click on proceed, wait, then you have a file called unprotected_CCTNAME. For example unprotected_hh_furni_xx_360. Rename the 360 part to the part from previous steps (720) in my case and remove unprotected_. Then copy it to your folder with ccts (or your folder with furni ccts) and you're done :)

    If it is hard to understand, add my skype and I'll make a video for you (passing you the link on skype)

    I got halfway through from what you told me. I have recover-cct and MAcromedia Director MX. Then I opened recover twice and the web browser popped up, it created a file called unprotected_ of the piece of .cct furniture. I opened it with Macro, and for some odd reason the images on the furniture just looks sort of faded. But yeah I am sort of stuck their.
