idea Is there a way to use $_GET in RevCMS? (Urgent + Please read!)

    EDIT/ resolved.

Okay, so i'm working on a project for RevCMS... quite an advanced one, however I've come to a dilemma where there are work arounds, but using $_GET would be the simplest and most efficient option.

The problem I have is, $_GET doesn't work! At all, as the header of the URL is obviously retrieved through the htaccess, instead of having the default file loading up. If you have any ideas on how to get $_GET to work on this, or know how to edit .htaccess in order for something to work like

    yoursitehere.com/page/id/idhere

    Would be appreciated loads
    Thanks

I just don't prefer you to edit such base on RevCMS unless you know what you are doing. In this case i prefer you to just re-put RevCMS and just don't touch a thing unless you know what the hell you are doing...

Quite frankly, facemelt0r, I know "what the hell I am doing"... as I am quite experienced with PHP. However, I just couldn't think of a way to allow $_GET onto this page, but i've found a solution to it which opens no backdoors to exploits. Thanks for your constructive criticism, though.

I don't care if you know what you are doing because clearly you don't. As you just change things without keeping your mind up it clearly shows that quiet frankly you just don't know what you are doing to prevent your RevCMS from crashing.

Anyway it isn't constructive criticism as it's just a tip for to prevent errors coming up to your website so i prefer you not to take all comments so serious as they are meant to help you out and not bring these sorts of situations in to fighting and arguing for nothing.

Anyway good luck and hopefully you work out fine with your CMS and though that you asked me for support and nothing else so don't expect some nice story to be told here for you because as in a forum you need to be able to handle constructive criticism.

Maybe you could of just took this as postive criticism. As i was trying to help you.

Maybe if you forwarded your criticism in a positive way, I would have had received it that way, but as you didn't, I didn't. I appreciate you for at least spending about 2 minutes typing away to help me, but for something where you could have at least told me in a positive way, would have been even more appreciated than it had been interpreted.

Now, for your whiny comments of stating that I "clearly do not know" what I am trying to handle, that is completely obscure. I do know what to do, else I wouldn't have even thought of doing the project which I am doing, and will continue to do. The way I have gone around this was no different than the way the news.php works. Also, a CMS cannot 'crash', as it is a website, only errors can be shown.

Errors which I have caused also get fixed as soon as possible in the most efficient and non-exploiting way as possible, therefore removing any security threat to the CMS which I may have caused. Anywho, enough of the massive rant, I just don't appreciate criticism which is completely irrelevant to the topic which I have started.

I suggest you to take just a close look at your own thread you punk you clearly can't read anything. As this was for good advice there are many weird people around here who clearly act like they know anything but mess up and ask someone random. Pretty weird isn't it.

In this case you're a php coder, good deal. But it doesn't mean that as a PHP coder you always have to be respected on the forum for the skills that you're having. Same thing because for now you are just like one and another a punk who thinks that he can keep his thread non-constructive while a forum always has his constructive sides. You just need to get used to it because time by time you will get some more constructive and you will have to understand that. Somehow it's to help you to keep yourself out of the mess.

Now you're not making a mess but you are whining. Don't be such a drama queen kid get used to what goes around the forum i have learned to handle these sorts of measures and so will you.

There we go problem solved. By the way I'm not ''Pro'' at PHP so rather not really ask me things related to PHP because I'll be like ¿?¿ Wut?

    Thanks
