Can someone tell me how Machineban works?

How i can get it working?

And will it work on Azure?

You can't get a mac address from Javascript or Flash.

However you could extract it from a Java applet

As oleea said, you cannot actually machine ban, you can do a lot of stuff to prevent people from getting it (i.e blocking proxy etc).

I'm not sure if you mean by unique id packet though, but I'm not sure how it works, sorry

You can ban somebodys virtual ID with the machineban command. This virtual ID is generated by Flash, it works just like a mac address. It's a unique ID for your PC. If I'm not mistaken Azure has this command and you just need to add it to the commands table if it's not already present.

IP ban is the best solution, but you could look into other things like storing cookies on the visitor computer. Derpina's answer also seem solid. But these are not unique and easy avoidable if you know what you're doing.

All in all IP ban is the most solid solution for you.

MachineID was created back when shockwave had a unique MachineID for each install, these days Flash still has this unique identifier.
When you ban somebody using a MachineID it means that they can't connect to your hotel unless they reinstall Flash. IP & Machine ban at the same time is usually fun.
