Making a Hotel Soon.. Need some advice
Hello. Tomorrow I will begin the development of what will be my 2nd hotel. I am wondering how to create the most secure/fast budget infrastructure. I aim to only pay $30 a month on VPS. While I have done research looking for decently priced windows VPSs i have came across this;
1 Powerful Xeon E5 Virtual CPU
2 GB Dedicated Memory
75 GB SSD Storage
2 TB Traffic Allocation @ 1 Gbps Uplink
Would this be suitable for a newly started hotel? How many people do you think this could handle without a notice of lag.
And now to move on to security. I hear talk of needing a proxy network to prevent hacking/ddosing. I am wondering if this is really necessary. Should i really invest into a proxy? If not what protection do I need, I know im going to need cloudflare, but aren't there actual programs that kick an ip off your server after so many requests? I don't know. I'm pretty nooby if you can't tell yet.
Now to move on
As for the CMS, I just want one with little to no exploits so please link me to a good CMS thread.
As for the emulator, I hear Plus emulator, and someone has even recommended Gold Tree Emu.
Thank you all in advanced, even if you can not help. You reading this is much appreciated.

Re: Making a Hotel Soon.. Need some advice
I use Gold Tree Emulator and I LOVE IT
Revcms is the best ( if you ask me )
Server setup:
AMD Athlon™ II X4
(Quad-Core, 4x 2.3 GHz)
16 GB DDR3 ECC
2x 1,500 GB SATA
(5,400 rpm, 8MB)
Windows Server 2008 R2
55$ /month
You can get a server from just 30$ /month with alot of RAM, CPU and more!
NO DDOS PROTECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get a TCP Proxy, i have a Proxy with 480 Gbps DDoS Protection, 1000 Mbit/s and i got my Proxy IP in Habbo.swf file so the server ip SHOULD be save ( i think it is ), If you want to know more, just PM me
