I tried X4B in the past and had issues with the time it took to actually filter an attack, it would still disconnect a good ~300 users even with a US frontend & backend and would be unresponsive for a bit

That was probably the case 6+ months ago with our old provider, not that I ever noticed that. We where unhappy with them for up-time related reasons and have since switched providers (within the same datacenter).

Anyway this isn't a sales thread, I am just trying to inform users of the problem experienced through all means of the problem experienced. I am sorry for the issues you experienced, if it helps feel free to PM me for a free trial in compensation (if it is of any use to you, given your signature).

If your DDoS Protection service is hosted with frantech then you should plan on move. They did just shutdown my protected IP because some ports was just 'to much' for their filters.

But i'm glad i cancelled my server and went over to Retro Proxy - Homepage, they just got new servers in Amsterdam that can handle up to 12 Gbps :)

Cant say we have ever had that issue and we have 37 active IPs between two nodes at the moment. Personally I have seen them absorb 8gbit+ attacks against clients.

EU Based DDOS protection has large limitations, namely the high cost of Circuts, IX, Bandwidth. We chose the US solely for this reason, and Awknet has excelled in this regard.

We have never had any issues with Frantech and we have over 37 IPs/services with them. I cant speak for your experience, only ours.

Each IP has a separate quota in their system before an automatic null-route is enforced so by giving each client their own IP we have prevented any issues that would otherwise arise.

Everything now works by default. Thank you to all those who helped debug the issue.
