Hello,
As the VPS thread has been removed I'm asking it here. Is OVH a good host to setup a TCP proxy (on CentOS) as they have anti-ddos?
Hello,

I would not use bare OVH VPS as it be bypassed very easily with 95% of booters that cost less then $5
The Anti DDOS and Anti DDOS pro can all be bypassed by booters that cost less then $5
proxy are so useless if you have the real ip, and this can be obtained alot of ways.
You may like to check out our new VPS Game Servers, they do not require a TCP proxy for your emulator
You email OVH about an attack, they will email back (if you are lucky) asking you to provide logs of the attack types of attack. When you are paying £3 a month for a VPS they will do very little on the attack side of things other than ask for logs and advise you the VPS is unmanaged so it is your problem
You are really wasting your time in a gaming forum with these questions stills ? Please my friend, use google, search for "DDoS Protection" and check the top companies, inquiry them about your questions and check the one most suitable to your needs, now if you can only afford OVH, it won't work that well really (no matter who offers what, ovh is ovh and you are always behind their VAC/Network).
