PHP Issue.

When I try to connect to my vps, it's giving me this error:

What version of XAMPP are you running?

I a running v3.2.2

I believe that's using PHP5.5.X in which mysql_ is deprecated in favour of mysqli_, to test if that's the reason you could use an older XAMPP version (1.8.2-6), or more preferably use a CMS that utilises mysqli_ and is designed for PHP7.X.

While okay for testing, I wouldn't recommend using XAMPP or an outdated version of PHP for a live hotel.

mysql_ is old and insecure and was deprecated in 5 and eventually removed in 7+.
mysqli_ is the replacement for it not designed for 7.X

Yes, my bad I was missing a comma, I meant a CMS designed to run on >=7.
Based on the folder name 'Revolution' in the error it seems he's using RevCMS.


Edit: @Damientju Another user in this forum had the same problem - http://forum.ragezone.com/f333/error-revcms-1100153/ - and it was resolved by using XAMPP 1.7.3.

I'd suggest not using XAMPP in a live environment in the first place.
