Hi! I've got this problem..
mySQL Engine - RevCMS: MySQL could not connect to host

Everything in the config.php and the external variables, mysql is right?

Changed the password in "config.php" to "" and the error is:
MySQL Engine - RevCMS:
MySQL could not connect to host

Goto /phpmyadmin in the URL and see if it loads up. To me it looks like your mysql service isn't started.

Its up and everything! I can logon and everything. Go the the database etc.

Emulator, (config)
Xampp
All config in htdocs (config.php, Client.php, external variables)
Database

Well the issue is it's not connecting to the DB so the service cant be running or your config is fucked.

Change Mysql Host Name to: localhost

I got this error too when putting IP, I changed to localhost and it worked. So then i think its either your db table, password or port.

Did you already tried to enter MySQL with HeidiSQL or something like that? If you want I can teamview and give it a look.
