RevCMS Troubles

Hello,

I am currently facing some troubles with RevCMS and my BcStorm.

Everything seems to be installed properly, however when I click enter hotel it loads the client and when its finishing loading it re-directs itself back to the me.php page! I've tried updating my web build, changing swfs, switching to phoenix emu, etc but nothing seems to be working! Just gets a little frustrating after a while, so you guys are my only hope

Been trying everything I can for days to figure this out with no luck!

If you can help me, it would be much appreciated.

Does the emu show to pickup any connections.
Check ur conf's for emu and cms see if ur ip is correct also check your ports it shud 1232 in the emu config page..

The emu does pickup connections whenever we try to enter the hotel, it says "Connection received, lets do this".

Right, change the 'mus.tcp.bindip=localhost' to 127.0.0.1 and also in your external_variables change the banner.png to banner.php, that should fix the problem :)

I changed it to 127.0.0.1, and also changed my external variables to .php and the problem still persists!

When clicking client open up Developer Tools on Chrome by clicking ctrl shift and J at the same time and tell me what errors it shows.

Right it tells you there, it cant find them files so either get another swf pack or add them to that directory.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but if I'm right you should be looking in your external_variables... Make sure everything is correct.

Yes I noticed that the files are missing (404 errors).

I will try and get another SWF pack, and see if that will fix the problem.

I've been trying to search around and find another pack, but haven't been successful.

Can you guys link me to your SWF Pack please? Would be greatly appreciated.

I always use haddocms one, just type on ragezone HaddCMS rel, and use the SWF pack they provide :)

Bozzie, I can't seem to find it on ragezone through searching for some reason.
Can you help me out?

HillBilly, when I open the GUI, I don't see any errors.
Is there a way you would be able to look for yourself through TeamViewer or something?

Update: Now when I load the client, it fully loads and sits at the Hotel View.

After a few moments, it finally re-directs to disconnected.php. Atleast I can see the hotel view now.

Any steps from here?

As I said before but to no response, have you checked that your variables links are correct? This is normally the cause of client disconnecting.

Open Chrome and Press ctrl+shift+i
Click network.
Open hotel
View what stuff is missing (404 not found in red) and fix those links in external_variables.

I have downloaded Google Chrome and was debugging the client.
Fixed many 404's in the variables. Now its loading normally, and the hotel view background comes up but that's it.

It just sits at hotel view with the hotel background but nothing else.

When I run the emulator, it seems to be coming up with an error. I believe this may be the final cause as to why the hotels not loading. Do you happen to recognize this error, because it's stumped me!

At the top it still says Loading Phoenix Emulator, which makes me believe that the Emu's not fully setup, thus causing the hotel to freeze at the hotel view with the background. I'm going to need some help!

Any other suggestions from this point?

Thanks for the reply, how do I go about doing that?

Go to start, control panel, click on view by small icons, go to region, set the format: to English(United States)

Is your DB a clean DB or have you used it on a hotel before?
