note Tcp proxy setup | Centos 6.3 server.

I'm trying to setup a proxy on a Linux Centos 6.3 server with Haproxy with this script with the latest haproxy,
    global
    daemon
    log /dev/log local4
    maxconn 400000
    ulimit-n 810000

    defaults
    log global
    timeout connect 5000
    timeout client 50000
    timeout server 50000

    listen proxy1 REALIP:REALPORT
    mode tcp
    balance leastconn
    server proxy1_1 PROXYIP:PROXYPORT
When i then start the haproxy servers, the port i choose is not availbel, it's closed not open.
I've tried installing other haproxy versions, none of them gets my port open.
I've also changed ip adresses for the proxy and nodes, but that doesn't help either.
I have rebooted the server and tried reinstalling the server, none of that works.

    Any help is much aprreciated!

As a temp fix you could run this /etc/init.d/iptables stop
But that would stop the firewall untill you reboot,

You need to open the ports you would like to use.

And how do i do that? I Tried opening the panel i had but that didn't work. But with the line "Bind 127.0.0.01:port" the ports open (but it doesn't work like it should)
