    Trying to setup a simple localhost retro

    I've followed many tutorials, this one helped me get the furthest:

    My problem is that I can never get past a white screen on my client. I used to be able to setup retros for localhost with Debbo (But that was years ago), however nowadays I can't figure out what is what. All the tutorials seem to be out-of-date and all of the active users on here already have so much knowledge that the "asking for help" threads are way beyond my comprehension. Could someone point me in the right direction so I can possibly setup a somewhat up-to-date retro on localhost?

    Do you see any of the swf loading?
    If not, you could have a look at your swf paths and see if you have connected the Habbo.swf correctly and all the other swf configuration.
    You could also use the Chrome Developer Tool and check the Console for missing files (404), create a screenshot and post it here.

    Alright, here's what I've found. The SWF paths from that tutorial link to a dead website, so Chrome Dev Tools comes up with these errors (with the bolded item being the dead link):

    Changing the SWF paths back to locally hosted will load the hotel up about 95%, but it redirects to a disconnect page saying:

    Oops! Something has gone wrong and you have been disconnected from RevCMS 1.9.9.9, if you would like to reload...
    Looking through the dev log, it seems that the line

    in config.php is missing the '.txt' at the end. Editing that line and reloading the hotel (only on Chrome, as Firefox is always a complete endless white screen for me) will load up the hotel, however I can only see roughly the top 15% of the screen:

    After editing the line

    to

    and the port to the correct port, I get the errors:

Uncaught ReferenceError: swfobject is not defined(anonymous function) @ client:80
    In my /js/ folder, the files I have are:

    jq.js
    jquery.js
    mango.js

    And of course, the client doesn't load now.

    I went on github quickly and grabbed an updated swfobject and put it in the folder, also had to change the {url}/client/ path to {url}/app/ to get the hotel to load. It now loads again, but still only shows 15-20% of the client. List of errors:

    Fixed it myself. Something is wrong with both the Priv and the Mango theme in my tutorial. The easiest way to fix it is to download:

    http://www.mediafire.com/download/qcb3zo7u9n1go4k/RevCMS+with+Habbo+Theme.zip

    And use the 'habbo' theme as your default theme. I'm not 100% sure what was actually wrong though.
