    Unable to Access Localhost

    Hi all,

I've been trying to set up my own habbo server to mess around on. I've managed to download a Emu and a CMS, but I'm unable to access my localhost.

    I can access PhpMyAdmin, but not able to access the CMS itself. All I get is;
    Code:
    This site can’t be reached

yourip’s server DNS address could not be found.
Search Google for yourip YourDomain index
I'm using Google Chrome Browser. I've turned off my Firewall on my virus protection program and ensured all of the IP addresses are correct on the config.ini files etc, but still no luck.
Haven't dealt with Habbo Emus for a while now, so kinda forgot a lot of stuff. :P

    Re: Unable to Access Localhost

Can you access it from 127.0.0.1?

    If so:
    Did you portforward your router?

Nope. Tried 127.0.0.1 and localhost in browser and the same message.

And never done a portforward on my router.

Did you turn on your web server? (Probably Xampp or IIS)

Yup. Running XAMPP. Apache and MySQL are both running fine.

Edit: Thought it might be something to do with my XAMPP directory folder to htdocs. Still not working.

Its your CMS. There is nothing wrong with your XAMPP Installation, I guess. Try another RevCMS on retroripper, and see if it works, or just reinstall XAMPP fully again and see if that works.

Tried a new CMS, and it worked fine! Thanks for your help!
Do you happen to know of any tutorials on how to host SWFs? :)

Just download Plus SWFs from retroripper, and past the folder into your htdocs. If you want to use a another emulator, so just replace the Habbo.SWF to the whatever emulator you use.

I can recommend you to use Arcturus. I use it by myself, and its really good and stable, but its your choice to choose.
